She has created large-scale live cultural events, national tourism brands and marketing plans, executive produced 39 episodes of Food and Travel TV, and for 17 years was the VP/Publisher of NG Traveler. Dawn is an active participant in the travel industry and has been an Officer and Board Member for many private sector groups and NGOs, including US Travel and Tourism Advisory Board to the Secretary of Commerce, Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA).
